Shipping

What shipping options are available?

You may choose to have your purchases shipped to your home or your business (not available for rural addresses), or to our clinic (Antler Hill Veterinary Services, herein AHVS) for pickup during regular business hours. 

Out-of-province or international shipping is not available. 

At home delivery is not available for rural addresses. 

Shipping to a P.O Box is not permitted. 

 

Purolator will not leave packages at an address if there is nobody to sign for the receival of the package, unless the following conditions are met.

If you know that you will not be home to sign for the package, you can do one of the following:

1. Fill out this form (https://www.purolator.com/assets/pdf/forms/SNR_single.pdf), and attach it visibly on or near your door stating your name, signature, date, address, tracking number as a request to leave the package at your door. The purolator driver will take this letter as proof of consent to leave the package without a signature if all fields are present and matching his documentation.

2. Visit https://www.purolator.com/assets/pdf/forms/SNR_multiple.pdf, and fill out the provided form. This may then be taken to the Purolator depot in Red Deer (2319 Taylor Dr, Red Deer, AB) where they will give you a "No Signature Required" sticker to display on your door. With this sticker you will not need to sign for any future deliveries regardless of the sender. This does however waive AHVS’s responsibility for damaged (ie. as the result of shipping or any animal or climate activity), lost or stolen products that have been tracked by Purolator as delivered. 

 **Should either of these options fail resulting in your shipment returning to the Red Deer Purolator depot, Purolator will call you to notify you via phone that your package will be held for a maximum of 5 days, likely at the Red Deer Purolator Depot. If instructed to do so as requested by Purolator, you may ask them to ship to a new location or have it sent to our clinic. Any extra expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser.**

 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping to the clinic for pick-up is free of charge.  

Costs for shipping to another address is dependant upon the size, weight and quantity of the procuct, and determined by Purolator.  

The shipping costs can be calculated prior to confirming order if home delivery is selected. If shipping costs are deemed unreasonable, you may change your order to have product shipped to AHVS prior to finalizing purchase.

How long does shipping take?

Products shipped to our clinic are expected to be delivered to AHVS within 1-2 business days, typically received between 11am-1pm. This could be subject to change based on occasional holiday closures or delivery driver workload. You will receive an email when your order arrives at the clinic. 

At home delivery will typically take 2 business days after your order is placed. You will receive an email when your package has been shipped. 

 Are there restrictions on where products can be delivered?

Currently we cannot offer shipping to rural locations or P.O. boxes. You may attempt this but it is probable that your product will end up in the nearest Purolator depot regardless of what the website tells you at checkout. If this is the case, it is your responsibility to pick up your package as instructed by Purolator, or contact Purolator and request them to ship it elsewhere or to AHVS for pick-up.
